Firm grippy, youthful tannins, full bodied, with more black fruit flavours, and added cocoa, vanilla and coffee finish. Gutsy and lots of structure as you'd expect from a Petit Verdot, but nicely balanced with the fruit and acidity. Definitely a food wine paired with roast meats or strong, hard cheese. Otherwise cellar.
