Pyramids Road Bernies Blend 2018

This blend is a selection of some of the best barrels from our 2018 vintage. This year the blend is made up of one barrel each of Cabernet, Merlot and Petit Verdot. A wonderfully complex wine.

Grant Burge Filsell Barossa Old Vine Shiraz 2011

Deeply intense ruby colour. Pronounced aromas of black fruits - blackcurrants, plums and cherries with leather and tobacco. Dry with high acidity. High tannins, high alcohol. Black cherry flavours. Full bodied, long finish. Outstanding wine.

Hentley Farm Barossa Shiraz 2014

Let's begin with the color.....:intense deep purple with a claret edge. Long slow legs. The aroma is of blackberry and plum with a wisp of licorice. The wine is soft on the tongue and palate.....a delicate balance of the Shiraz and Viognier grapes. Finishes slightly dry.

Curtis Limited Series Grenache 2015 Mclaren Vale

Retails at $100 a bottle and it is worth every cent. A lovely wine. Raspberry, black fruits, vanilla, mint and eucalyptus. Some oak and medium tannins. Decent length.

Left Hook Margaret River Shiraz Granache 2016

Usual red berries and cherry in play here, but (call me insane?) I also caught a whiff of olive and ocean. Not my favourite blend ever, but entirely quaff-able. Interesting, smooth enough. Light flavors, with some hidden, subtle layers.
