The fruit here is stunning, with black and blue berries, chocolate and nuts all wrapped up in a gloriously silken texture. Big, polished, silky and great drinking now, this should also cellar for up to 10 years. It’s hard to believe how far and fast Kilikanoon has risen since being established in 1997 with 14 acres of vines. In 2002 Kilikanoon won 6 of the 7 available Trophies at the Clare Valley wine show. In 2013 James Halliday named Kilikanoon as his winery of the year. Today Kilikanoon has over 700 acres of vines, and sources additional fruit from some of the best growers in the Barossa Valley, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale.
